Born and raised in the heart of the Latin American countryside, Panamanian designer Zunilda Gutiérrez draws inspiration from the rich, humble life of rural communities—their crops, traditional garments, festive rituals, and ancestral wisdom. These elements come together in a symphony of vibrant prints, earthy tones, and silhouettes that pay homage to the soul of the Latin countryside.

As a child, she learned the art of hand-sewing and embroidery from her maternal grandmother, cultivating a deep appreciation for handcrafted detail. Her style reflects organic elegance and authenticity—a rural heritage reimagined through a modern, sophisticated lens.

Each Zunilda Gutiérrez collection tells a story woven with memory, tradition, and artistry. Every piece becomes a tribute to the little girl who once ran through dirt roads and wildflowers, and to the women who inspire her still.
